FileDropr ("we," "us," or "our") is a file hosting and sharing platform that respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998. This policy explains how copyright holders can report infringing content and how users can respond if their content is removed in error.

By using FileDropr, you agree to abide by this DMCA Policy.

2. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content hosted on FileDropr infringes your copyright, you must report it through our official reporting system. We do not accept DMCA notices via email to ensure proper tracking and processing.

How to Report a Copyright Violation

1. Locate the file: Find the specific file you believe is infringing your copyright.

2. Click the flag icon: Each file on FileDropr has a report button (flag icon). Click the flag icon on the file you wish to report.

3. Provide the necessary details, including:

   • Your full name, address, phone number, and email
   • A description of the copyrighted work that has been infringed
   • The direct link (URL) to the infringing file
   • A statement confirming your good faith belief that the use of the material is unauthorized
   • A declaration, under penalty of perjury, that the information you provided is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
   • Your electronic signature

4. Submit the report: Once submitted, our compliance team will review the report.

3. Review and Processing Time

• All reports are manually reviewed to ensure validity before action is taken.
• The review process can take up to 72 hours from the time the report is submitted.
• If the report is valid, FileDropr will remove or disable access to the infringing material and notify the uploader.
• If additional information is required, we will reach out via the contact information supplied in the report.

Please note: Submitting multiple reports for the same file does not speed up the review process.

4. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe your file was wrongfully removed, you may file a Counter-Notification.

How to Submit a Counter-Notification

Since there is no button to submit a counter-notice through the reporting system, you must contact FileDropr support via email at:

Your Counter-Notification must include:

• Your full name, address, phone number, and email
• Identification of the removed file (original URL before removal)
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed in error
• A declaration consenting to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal Court in your location (or where FileDropr is based)
• Your electronic signature

5. Repeat Infringers Policy

FileDropr enforces a strict repeat infringer policy:

• Users who receive three or more valid DMCA complaints may have their accounts permanently terminated.
• FileDropr reserves the right to disable, suspend, or ban accounts that continuously upload infringing content.

6. Disclaimer

• FileDropr operates as a neutral hosting provider under DMCA Safe Harbor provisions (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)).
• We do not monitor all uploaded content, but we will remove content when a valid DMCA complaint is received.
• Misrepresenting a claim in a DMCA Notice or Counter-Notification may result in legal consequences, including damages.
